Limited Capacity seats available

This session will explore and demonstrate a paradox about music, using examples from across the globe: while it is universal in the sense that all humans make and use music, our understanding of what music is, what it means, and how it is used can vary greatly from community to community. If this is true, we may want to think carefully about how our use of music – in music classrooms, chapel experiences, and other educational contexts – succeeds and fails to create a sense of community in our schools.
